Import Lists of ASINs into Excel

Browsenodes.com provides a couple of simple ways to download a list of Amazon product ASINs and titles which you can easily import into an Excel spreadsheet.

By Browse Node (Category)

At Browsenodes.com, navigate to a browse node containing the kinds of products of interest to you. for example, the Home & Garden / Categories / Patio, Lawn & Garden / Backyard Birding / Birdbaths node (1055398). On the page, under the Tools label, you'll find the List Product ASINs for aStore link. Click this link and a page with a list of the ASINs for the products in the node will be displayed.

The list of ASINs is intended to be used to quickly populate an Amazon aStore. If you have an aStore, you can "copy and paste" the list of ASINs from BrowseNodes.com into Amazon's web page which allows you to add a list of ASINs to your aStore.

Below the list of ASINs, you'll find the same ASINs listed with the titles of the products. This list is formatted to be imported into Excel (or another program) as a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file. To import the list into Excel, use your mouse to highlight the list of comma-separated ASINs and titles. Select "Edt" / "Copy" from your browser's menu bar. Open Notepad (or another text editor). To use Notepad, click the Windows "Start" button then "All Programs" / "Accessories" / "Notepad". Select "Edit" / "Paste" from Notepad's menu. Select "File" / "Save As" then select the folder and enter a name for the file (such as "asinlist.csv"). Click the "Save" button. Select "File" / "Exit" from Notepad's menu to close Notepad.

Start Excel then select "File" / "Open" from Excel's menu bar. Select the file you save earlier and click the "Open" button. The ASINs and titles will be loaded into the spreadsheet in two columns.

Using Advanced Search

At BrowseNodes.com, click the Advanced Search button in the Search box on the left side of the page. From here, you can select a Category and enter a Keyword or Phrase then click the Find button. Or you can click one of the entries in the list of categories below the Advanced Search form. Then select a value from the list of subcategories. BrowseNodes.com will display a list of products in the subcategory. Below that will be a list of the ASINs of the products.

Below the list of ASINs, you'll find the same ASINs listed with the titles of the products.
