I bought of these - one for our birdbath and one for our daughter-in-law's bird bath. They do wear out after several years. We have had one before. They are such a help to the birds and in the winter the water doesn't freeze because the wiggler works in the winter as well.</Content>

<Content>I am very pleased with my water wiggler. It has been in my bird bath since first of April and is working great. Battery life - still using the same original batteries,but battery life also depends on the batteries. I wish the wiggler was a little heavier and will get a heavier one if in the future I need to get another wiggler. I have had wind gusts up to 50 mph which did not blow over the wiggler, but it is in a protected area from strong winds. No big crows or other birds have knocked the wiggler over. I have seen no mosquito eggs.</Content>

<Content>This is the second of these water wigglers that I've owned. The first one lasted several years and worked well to keep the water moving in my relatively shallow bird bath. Unfortunately I threw the old one out. I wish I had kept the metal legs because the new ones (about 3.5 inches) make the unit sit higher, which means I have to refill the bird bath more often to keep the rotating part under water. Mechanically, however, it works fine and is easy to assemble. The birds seem to like the movement and it keeps the water from becoming a stagnant nursery for mosquitoes. I'm going to ask my husband to either bend the legs or shorten them.</Content>

<Content>I ordered this bird bath a year ago. Love how it looks in the front yard. Added a few colored pebbles in the middle for the birds to sit on as they bathe and drink. The birds love it. My cat loves watching them through the window. Am ordering my 2nd one of these today to add to a front flowerbed. Although the birdbath is made of plastic and very light, I have not had any problems with it falling over once the water and pebbles are in. I also covered the bottom with mulch. This birdbath also did well in the snow storms of last year. Would highly recommend.</Content>

It assembled easily in about a minute, all the parts fit together well, it's lightweight and easy to move and clean, and the birds love it. The ground stakes hold it firmly, and it's very attractive. I'm also worried about chemicals leeching out of the plastic into the water the birds bathe in because it's always out in the hot sun here in Florida. It's beautiful, but it's PLASTIC!</Content>

<Content>The product is very similar to what it pictured, but the metal is very thin and some of the connecting parts are plastic and the spike at the bottom comes off easily, so I am going to try to super glue it to see if that helps. Having said that, it is very attractive for such a light-weight bird-bath and I love the fact that I can convert it if I need to. I think I could even use the 3 "branches" that hold it if it is in the ground for decorative stakes if I decide to hang it.</Content>

<Content>I purchased this bird bath over a month ago and still do not have it up. The bracket is made for a 4x4 post and my railing isn't that big... I've had to make numerous trips to the hardware store to figure out a solution to get it to fit. There are two size bolts and neither one was long enough for a smaller railing and the bracket isn't long enough either so when you screw the bolts in they slip below the bracket and will not hold it in place. Maybe once I figure out how to attach it securely, then I might be happy with it. <br />It arrive quickly and eventually I think the birds will like it, but that remains to be seen.</Content>

<Content>I purchased this bird bath in early July and I really like it. It is a clever design. It is easy to install, though the top rail of your deck can't be wider than "6" as in "2 by 6" or the clamp won't fit. Mine is a 2 by 6 top rail, so it was very easy to install. The tipping feature makes cleaning a breeze and so I doubt I will every have mosquito problems. <br /><br />I thought birds would descend on it immediately, but I can't say I have actually seen any birds drinking or splashing in it. A robin who has a nest nearby will stand on the edge of it and squawk at me for being in its territory, so I imagine it has used it as a bird bath too.<br /><br />I read that birds are attracted to moving water and so I am getting a "wiggler" to put in it so that the water is moving.<br /><br />NOTE: it is too shallow, 1-1/4" deep in the center if filled to the brim, to add a fountain/pump.</Content>

However, some of these swimming areas are tainted by oil and gasoline run-off, sewage, residue from a road's tar or asphalt, or heavy chlorination. Such unnatural impurities may actually leave a bird dirtier post-bath and endanger its physical wellbeing. While controlling the water quality of every puddle in the world is impossible, bird lovers can at least provide a safer bathing pool for feathered friends by installing a home birdbath and keeping the basin stocked with clean water. <Content>The birdbath itself is even more beautiful than shown on the web site. However, the metal standing apparatus is not that stable and there is only a soft plastic piece for the bottom,i.e., no solid sharp part to go into the ground. We had to use our own ingenuity to get the metal stakes in the ground and at least relatively stable.<br /><br />I think there should have been information about the standing stakes on the web site and information in the instructions about how to adequately put standing stakes in the ground. <br /><br /><br />Purchased at Amazon.com</Content>

<Content>This birdbath is super for all birds, big and small. It's pretty and the shallow depth allows all birds big and small can enjoy a drink or a bath. I originally bought this bath in 2002 and staked mine in to the ground. It has little grooves on the dish that makes it easy to remove to clean. I live in a cold climate and the terracota never cracked in 7 years. I had to replace this bath because a tree fell on it and broke it. Get it! You'll be happy you did!</Content>

What a thrill to watch daddy and baby oriole eating jelly at the same time! I ended up getting my hubby to drill a hole in it to drain the rainwater out. <Content>I purchased this item based on its claim of the patented bee guards keeping bees out. First off it does not look like the picture, the drinking holes are round and have a small button inside that the orioles will push down to feed. Unfortunately, the bees learned within about an hour how to push the button down. They then go in to drink, can't get back out and die. The entire bottom of the feeder was full of bees within 24 hours of hanging the feeder. Does not work as intended. And is definitely not the same product shown.</Content>

<Content>Bought one of these feeders three years ago, worked super great so much easier than my last one, Loved it so much and so did the birds I bought a new one last week for my front yard, unfortunately dropped and broke my old one so I had to get another this week to replace it. For some reason where the pieces screw together at the base for easy cleaning leaks and the feeder is empty by morning. Both of them. It needs some sort of seal I would think. This is getting really expensive replacing feed every morning so I am going to look for another feeder.. Did not have this problem with the old one and it looked like it was the same design that's what is so funny about it.. I would look for another also, do not get this one until they fix what the problem is. You know when two will leak then they all will..</Content>

<Content>This feeder works fine, however, it is the most difficult thing to clean I've ever had! First of all the container is a really awkward shape. It does not fit in your hand very well due to it's wide girth. An old soda bottle would be easier to handle! Secondly, it has a very small mouth which makes it difficult to insert a bottle brush. Then on the inside there are small plastic squiggles that hold the nectar dispensing buttons on which are also difficult to clean. The other problem is emptying the bottle. It's flattened at the bottom and even with vigorous shaking you can never completely empty it.If they were to change the shape of the bottle (make it smaller in girth and widen the mouth) It could be a great product!</Content>

Opus's egg-shaped feeder holds 32 ounces and provides four feeding stations, to allow as many orioles to dine as possible. Adjustable perches offer two different perch heights to accommodate all nine species of orioles. A patented bee guard keeps pests out and secures food. A convenient hanging hole permits owners to hang the feeder by a special stand or on tree branches. <p> Opus even includes an oriole identification chart to inform bird enthusiasts. To attract orioles to the feeder, place it in a sheltered southeast location in the yard or garden. Orioles also enjoy dining on fresh oranges and grape or apple jelly. Keep the feeder stocked year-round to nourish any birds that linger through a cold winter, and help tired birds rebuild strength after the long flight north in spring. To deter pesky squirrels, hang the oriole feeder from tree branches as far from the trunk as possible and at least four feet above the ground.
